2025 Kalmar Motor AB TBL 800 Aircraft Tow Tractor, s/n K2924, Electric, 36 Hours, Unit is in excellent condition. Buyer responsible for all loading and transportation. The Kalmar TBL800E is a state-of-the-art electric towbarless aircraft tractor engineered to deliver powerful, emissions-conscious aircraft handling for some of the world's largest commercial aircraft. Built specifically for pushback, intergate towing, and maintenance operations, the TBL800E is capable of servicing aircraft including the Boeing 747, 767, 777, 787 and Airbus A330, A340, A350, and A380 platforms. Featuring a heavy-duty electric drivetrain, four-wheel steering, and a maximum tractive effort of 350 kN, this highly specialized unit combines exceptional maneuverability with the muscle required for demanding airport and MRO environments. Powering the tractor is Kalmar's advanced lithium-ion battery system with an 800V architecture and battery capacities ranging from 240 to 360 kWh. This particular unit is equipped with the desirable optional onboard AC charging system, allowing operators to recharge using a fixed 63A AC charging station without the need for dedicated DC fast-charging infrastructure. The electric drive system eliminates the complexity of conventional transmissions through direct axle-drive motors, delivering smooth acceleration, reduced maintenance requirements, and quiet operation while supporting tow speeds up to 25 km/h and solo travel speeds up to 30 km/h. Adding further value and operational flexibility, this tractor is equipped with the highly sought-after factory Range Extender package. The Range Extender utilizes a Cummins QSB6.7 six-cylinder diesel engine coupled to an 800V generator system designed specifically to recharge the battery pack during operation. Producing 175 kW, the integrated generator significantly extends operating time between charging intervals, making the tractor well suited for demanding airport operations where equipment availability and uptime are critical. This feature provides operators with the benefits of electric-powered towing while reducing concerns about battery depletion during extended shifts or peak traffic periods. Operator comfort and safety are enhanced through a fully enclosed suspension cab featuring excellent visibility, ergonomic controls, touchscreen vehicle management system, integrated camera monitoring, LED lighting, ABS braking, and advanced diagnostic capabilities. With a nose wheel lifting capacity of up to 60,000 kg, a robust hydraulic braking system, and proven Kalmar engineering throughout, the TBL800E represents a premium opportunity for airports, airlines, ground handlers, and maintenance facilities seeking a high-capacity electric towbarless tractor with the added security and versatility of the optional AC charging system and factory-installed Range Extender.
