Condition: FAIR Unit Heats up and Stir paddle works. Quickly melt and temper up to 6 pounds of chocolate with the ACMC Chocolate Tempering Machine. This machine is thermostat controlled and comes with a cooling fan, a stainless steel bowl and a plastic scraper. Thermostat controlled. melts & tempers up to 6 lbs. of chocolate. If you've ever tried to temper chocolate at home, you know how frustrating it can be if not done properly! If you melt chocolate then simply let it cool, it will set as a dull brown mass with a texture that's chalky and grainy. Tempered chocolate, on the other hand, is shiny, even-colored, crisp and smooth tasting. The key to tempering is to control the temperature of the melted chocolate very precisely. To do so, the right equipment is essential. With this tabletop machine, the process of tempering is simplified. Pick up by appointment only. Will ship with prepaid label. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal ID must be provided at time of pick-up. The winning bidder MUST provide their own labor and materials to remove the item(s) from The University of Montana Surplus and must take all items at time of pickup. Due to liability, University personnel will not be able to help load or secure items.
