A DAMAGED BLOCK HEATER CABLE CAN CAUSE A RESISTIVE SHORT, INOPERATIVE ENGINE BLOCK HEATER, AND OR TRIPPING OF HOUSEHOLD BREAKERS OR GFCI EQUIPPED OUTLETS WHILE THE VEHICLE IS PARKED AND THE BLOCK HEATER IS PLUGGED IN., Dealer is not authorized to perform the recall repair. Periodically contact the manufacturer or check the VIN on the NHTSA website at www.safercar.govivin to determine whether a remedy for the recall is available.
