Description: This auction features one (1) highly collectible and beautifully preserved antique/vintage cast iron fruit, lard, and wine press. The total weight of the unit is approximately 36 lbs. Unit Specifications: Manufacturer: Enterprise Manufacturing Co. (Philadelphia, U.S.A.) Model / Capacity: No. 8 (8-Quart capacity - clearly cast into the top arch) Part Number: 2070 (stamped/molded on the cast iron) Construction: Solid heavy-duty cast iron frame featuring a classic dual-gear-driven mechanical crank assembly with a wooden grip handle and a vertical screw press. Aesthetic Finish: Original or beautifully restored black paint finish accented with red pinstripe detailing, gold stenciled lettering on the top arch, and a vibrant multi-colored floral decal on the front of the main cylinder. Includes: Inner perforated metal strainer basket, solid outer pressing cylinder, heavy-duty pressing plate, and three footed mounting legs with bolt holes for securing to a workbench or table.
