It is a versatile and lightweight metal broadly used in various forms, for industries, including aerospace, automotive, construction, and manufacturing. One of the main advantages of 5052 aluminum is its high strength-to-weight ratio. It has a tensile strength of around 230 MPa and a yield strength of 195 MPa, higher than many other aluminum alloys. Its high strength makes it a preferable choice for applications requiring a high strength-to-weight ratio. The ductility of 5052 allows for the aluminum to bend and not break when pushed, pulled, and impacted. Permanent mounting can be made of out T304 stainless steel. This low carbon version of stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance in a wide variety of environments and when in contact with different corrosive media. The tensile strength of 304 stainless steel is at a minimum of 515 MPa and can typically reach 625 MPa as a maximum. This will allow for strong mounting points that will hold up to seasonal changes in exposure to the environmental elements.
