Veeco Nanoscope IIIa Atomic Force Microscope Microscope was in active use until ~2021. The piezo electric elements on the main J-controller are no longer linear and need to be replaced. The reset of the microscope along with the three controllers were in good working order when active. Includes VEECO cd rom disk and computer that runs Win7. All of the original instruction manuals are included so that all of the equipment can be used. Includes: AFM head, Nanoscope IIIa controller, nanoscope extender, temperature controller for (3) nanoscope probes, and the optical microscope for aligning the AFM tip. Computer with software that connects to AFM, stand for the microscope, and different small equipment like probe heads and tip holders for, EFM, KPFM, and MFM modes. Also comes with a signal access module designed to enable separate monitoring of every information channel and also to give feedback selectively. This was how people developed special modes like photosensitivity or IR feedback. It has never been used and is still in the original shipping box. Includes original instruction manuals.
