A year 2000 Caterpillar 250 kW three-phase diesel generator with a 500-gallon fuel tank. Generator resellers, rental yards, and parts dealers buy these, and the engine and alternator can be parted out. Running condition is unknown and the batteries are dead, so budget for a battery swap. Removal of a unit this size requires equipment and planning, so line up a rigging crew before bidding.
