Condition: FAIR E-C Apparatus EC500-90 Power Supply Features: Constant Power, Constant Current, Constant Voltage Modes Automatic Crossover Between Modes The E-C Apparatus EC500-90 / EC600-90 Power Supplies are intended to be used with the electrophoresis devices which operate below 4000 volts (EC600-90) or 2000 volts (EC500-90), 300 watts and or 300 milliamps D.C. Four sets of output sockets opeate in parallel to provide output in constant voltage, constant milliamps, or constant power. The E-C Apparatus Corporation EC 500 Electophoresis Power Supplies operate in 3 modes: constant power, constant current or constant voltage. Constant power mode is especially crucial for techniques that require accurate temperature control, such as isoelectric focusing and DNA sequencing. Under constant power setting, the power supply adjusts to changing conditions during the course of the run without creating hot spots on the gel. It features an output voltage of 2000V, an output current of 150mA, output power of 300W, 4 jacks, and automatic crossover between modes. Pick up by appointment only. Will ship with prepaid label. The winning bidder MUST provide their own labor and materials to remove the item(s) from The University of Montana Surplus and must take all items at time of pickup. Due to liability, University personnel will not be able to help load or secure items.
