THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION BILL!! This particular bill is serial number 33888. It is in worn condition, but still has a considerable value to it. The T-71 is an official $1 Confederate States of America banknote issued during the American Civil War in 1864. It belongs to the seventh and final series of Confederate paper money and features a portrait of Clement C. Clay, a Confederate senator from Alabama. Like most genuine Confederate issues of this era, authentic T-71 notes feature hand-signed Treasury signatures and handwritten serial number. The bill will come in a protective sleeve allowing you to show it to your friends and family while protecting it. Lower grade circulated notes such as this typically sell for between $50 and $150.
