Full Description
GROVE YB4409XL Crane SURPLUS PROPERTY - BRISTOL TN POLICE DEPARTMENT. Sold as is/where is. A BILL OF SALE WILL BE PROVIDED. Up for sale is a highly versatile Grove YB4409XL Carry Deck Crane, a standout unit in Grove's field-proven YardBoss industrial line. Delivering an 8.5-ton capacity, this specific "XL" variant features a longer 30-foot 2-inch three-section full-power boom that significantly maximizes your upward reach and working radius compared to the standard configurations. The hydraulic hoses were recently replaced, and the crane was operable when removed from service. Sold As-is, where-is, bid at your own risk with no guarantees. Only 948 hours. The crane appears to be in good overall condition and will likely need the fuel filter cleaned or replaced. Tires/tread appear to be in good condition and all inflated. Overall, the exterior is in good condition. Please view all photos carefully before bidding. PLEASE NOTE: The City of Bristol TN has a clause in its municipal code that requires sale of assets that bring in over $10,000 to be approved by City Council, which typically meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month. This is for informative purposes only as this operating procedure may cause a delay in when the equipment can be obtained by the winning bidder. PD 947
