Condition: FAIR Buyer will have to pick up items IN PERSON at Chico State. Table with weld head measures approximately 34" x 24" and 52" at highest point. Both items weigh more than 50lb individually. We will not be able to assist with moving or be able to work with 3rd party shipping companies . Winner of the auction must be present with a valid form of ID. System includes a Hughes power supply with adjustable watt-second control and a separate bench-mounted welding head. Exact original application and manufacture date are unconfirmed. Buyer should review all photos carefully to determine condition, configuration, compatibility, and included components. Historical Note: Manufactured by Hughes Aircraft Company's Vacuum Tube Products Division in Oceanside, California. This division produced specialized electronics and manufacturing equipment for aerospace, military, and industrial applications. Precision spot welders of this type were used for joining small electronic components, including parts used in vacuum tubes and compact electronic assemblies.
