Lot Description: This lot consists of approximately ten (10) pallets of surplus information technology (IT) equipment and related electronics being sold strictly as e-waste salvage. Contents include, but are not limited to: televisions, printers, cables, monitors, Abbott ID Now, fan, computers/peripherals, monitors, Amazon Kindle books, networking equipment, power supplies, and assorted other IT electronics and components in varying conditions. Items are sold as-is, where-is, with all faults. The County of San Luis Obispo makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operability, functionality, condition, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose of any item in this lot. Specifically, there is no guarantee that any item powers up, operates, or is free of defects. Items may be non-functional, incomplete, damaged, or missing components. I did not have the opportunity to test any of the equipment prior to listing, so no guarantees, and to reiterate, all IT goods are being sold as-is, where-is, with all faults. Examples of what is being listed are six TV’s listed below. Each TV is e-waste, in used, salvage condition, one having a cracked screen (VIZIO D70-D3). INSIGNIA NS-40D510NA21, 40" Class N10 Series LED Full HD TV Additionally pay close attention to the sample e-waste items that are on the table, offered as part of this auction for sale. We took many photos that you are able to view the quality and condition of goods offered for sale. Many e-waste electronics contain recoverable precious metals (gold, silver, copper, palladium) and rare earth elements. Buyer Responsibilities – Loading, Removal and Transportation The successful bidder is solely responsible for the loading, removal, and transportation of all goods from the designated County location. The County will not provide labor, equipment, forklifts, or assistance with loading. Due to the volume and nature of the materials (approximately 10 pallets), the County strongly recommends that the buyer bring no fewer than three (3) people and a large trailer or suitable vehicle (i.e., boxed truck) capable of securely transporting the entire lot in one trip. Proper tie-downs and cargo nets are recommended to secure the load. All loading and removal must be completed within the timeframe specified in the auction terms. Failure to remove the goods by the stated deadline may result in forfeiture of the purchase and any deposits, with the goods remaining the property of the County. Protective Terms – County of San Luis Obispo By bidding on and/or purchasing this lot, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to the following: As-Is Sale / No Warranties – The goods are sold “as-is, where-is” solely as e-waste. The County expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that any item is free from defects or will operate. No Reliance – The buyer acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to inspect the goods (or have elected not to do so) and are not relying on any statements or representations by the County of San Luis Obispo regarding the condition or functionality of the items.
