Originally designed as a laser for the processing of monocrystalline and multicrystalline silicon solar cells. Examples for processing techniques are laser edge isolation, laser-fired contacts, micro via hole drilling, SiN ablation, SiO2 ablation, surface modification, laser scribing, and surface restructuring. 208V, 50/60 Hz, manufactured in 2006. Nd:YAG @ 1064, 532 CW laser. Tool has not been run in approximately five years but was functioning when shut down.
