Level IV Ballistic Plates

Full Description

2 Level IV Ballistic plates in excellent condition. A Paraclete Level IV ballistic plate is a hard-armor rifle plate intended to protect the torso from high-energy rifle threats. Exact specifications vary considerably by Paraclete model and production year. What Level IV means: Under the older NIJ 0101.06 standard, Level IV armor is tested against a .30-06 M2 armor-piercing (AP) projectile, nominally 166 grains, at approximately 2,880 ft/s (878 m/s). Level IV is the highest rifle-protection level in that older NIJ classification system.
