Please read the description below carefully BEFORE submitting a bid for an item. We strongly recommend that all bidders carefully inspect auction items BEFORE submitting a bid. By submitting a bid for the City's auction items, the bidder acknowledges and agrees to the following: * All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS." * The City of Portland makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, or any guarantees as to the merchantability, condition, or suitability of the item for any particular purpose or use. * The bidder has had the opportunity to inspect the item prior to submitting their bid and is relying solely on their own investigation as to the condition, value, and suitability of the item. Upon the City's acceptance of a successful bid, the bidder assumes all risk and responsibility for the item, including but not limited to the loading, transport, delivery, storage, and use of the item, without exception. * Under no circumstances shall the City of Portland have any liability to the bidder or any third party for any claims, demands, action, or causes of action related to the item. * The bidder shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless, the City of Portland, its officers, employees, and agents, from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or causes of action (including attorney fees) arising from or related to the handling, transport, ownership, or use of the item by the bidder or any third party. * The City of Portland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to withdraw any item prior to sale, and to re-auction any item not paid for within 5 business days after acceptance of the bid or if the bidder does not take possession of the item within 10 business days. We are unsure of the working condition of the plows and salt spreader because they have been sitting for years. Three plows: two are full-size, and one for a midsize truck like Chevy Colorado One Salt Spreader for bobcat/toolcat One set of 4 wheels for a skid steer/Bobcat No Reserve.
