The New Brunswick Scientific G-25 (often referred to as part of the Series 25 line) is a floor-standing, heavy-duty laboratory incubator shaker engineered for long-term continuous operation. Manufactured by New Brunswick Scientific (now part of Eppendorf), this instrument is an industry standard for cell culture, biological fermentations, and microbiological research that require highly uniform temperature control alongside constant orbital agitation. Temperature Range: 5C above ambient to 60C. (Certain configurations with optional refrigeration or external water-bath loops can control down to 4C). Temperature Uniformity: Controlled electronically via dual thermostat control and monitoring to within +/- 0.5C. Shaking Speed: 40 to 400 RPM (some specialized testing pushes up to 500 RPM). Shaking Motion: Circular orbital motion operating on a 1-inch (25.4 mm) stroke circle.
