This roll was purchased as part of a large estate auction and appears to have been hand assembled by the previous collector. It has NOT been opened, searched, or altered by the seller and is being sold exactly as acquired from the estate. At over a century old these coins circulated during the aftermath of World War I and the beginning of the Roaring Twenties. The 1920-P has a mintage of approximately 310 million coins but a complete hand assembled roll of date specific early wheat pennies is an increasingly difficult find. Known varieties for this date include doubled die obverse examples and repunched date varieties making any unsearched roll of 1920-P cents an interesting prospect for variety hunters.
