This listing is for one (1) sealed roll of fifty (50) 1929-P Lincoln Wheat Pennies struck at the Philadelphia Mint, purchased as part of a large estate auction. Hand assembled by the previous collector and stored undisturbed since at least 2008 — a genuinely unsearched roll sitting untouched for nearly two decades. Being sold exactly as acquired. What you are bidding on: One (1) sealed roll of 50 Lincoln Wheat Pennies — 1929-P Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark) Hand assembled by previous estate collector — unsearched since at least 2008 Roll has NOT been opened, searched, or altered by the seller Coins have NOT been independently examined, graded, or verified by the seller These coins are 97 years old — genuine Great Depression era issue About These Coins: The 1929-P Lincoln Wheat Penny was struck at the Philadelphia Mint the same year the Stock Market crashed and the Great Depression began — one of the most consequential years in American history. At 97 years old these coins are genuine pieces of Depression era America. This roll was hand assembled by the previous estate collector and based on the condition and packaging of the estate collection appears to have been stored undisturbed since at least 2008 — making this a genuinely unsearched sealed roll sitting untouched for nearly two decades. Known varieties for this date include doubled die obverse examples and the condition spread between worn and uncirculated examples is significant. Date specific rolls of this age are an increasingly difficult find.
