A sealed roll of 50 1944-P Lincoln wheat pennies, unopened and unsearched from an estate, sold as-is. Buyers are coin roll searchers and estate-lot resellers who hunt for wartime steel cents or key dates by opening rolls. Be aware that the coins have not been examined or graded, so value depends on what is inside, and note the listing says the roll has not been checked.
Estimated flip margin and comp range available with Pro. Summary may occasionally contain inaccuracies; check the full description before bidding.

This listing is for one (1) sealed roll of fifty (50) 1944-P Lincoln Wheat Pennies struck at the Philadelphia Mint, purchased as part of a large estate auction. Hand assembled by the previous collector and stored undisturbed since at least 2008. Being sold exactly as acquired. What you are bidding on: One (1) sealed roll of 50 Lincoln Wheat Pennies, 1944-P Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark) Hand assembled by previous estate collector, unsearched since at least 2008 Roll has NOT been opened, searched, or altered by the seller Coins have NOT been independently examined, graded, or verified by the seller These coins are 82 years old, a genuine WWII era issue About These Coins: 1944 was the year the mint returned to copper after the 1943 steel cents, using recycled shell casings. A tiny number of 1944 cents were mistakenly struck on leftover steel planchets, one of the most famous errors in U.S. coinage. This roll is unsearched, so no specific errors, varieties, or key dates are guaranteed, and the odds of one are very small. It is simply part of what makes an unopened estate roll interesting.
