About These Coins: The 1952-P Lincoln Wheat Penny was struck at the Philadelphia Mint during the final years of the wheat cent design which ended in 1958. With a mintage of 186 million coins the 1952-P is a common date but an unsearched estate roll in original paper wrap is an increasingly scarce find. Key date varieties and condition rarities are always possible in an unsearched roll — that is part of the appeal. These coins are 72 years old and represent a genuine piece of mid-century American history.
