This auctions consists of a Single Lot of One (1) Zodiac Hurricane 530 & One (1) Evinrude 40HP Outboard Motor ***NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS ALLOWED*** ZODIAC HURRICANE 530: 1988 Zodiac Hurricane 530 17ft.; RI Registration RI 6430N; HIN XDC53010D888 (title in hand) The vessel is inactive, not in use, and not certified by URI as operational or seaworthy. It has been stored outdoors for an extended period. It was recently pulled from storage, hosed down/cleaned with light washdown, inflated for inspection, and staged on timber blocking for photos and potential surplus sale. The rigid hull appears intact based on visual inspection and photographs. No formal marine survey, moisture inspection, structural inspection, or sea trial has been performed. Hull exterior shows wear, scratches, abrasions, staining, and age-related marks consistent with long-term storage and prior operational use. All sponsons/chambers were inflated for inspection and photographed. The starboard and forward chambers retained air relatively well but softened over time. The port aft chamber displayed the most significant UV staining and material deterioration. When inflated firmly, small air bubbles were observed through portions of the heavily weathered material, indicating porous/deteriorated tube fabric or localized leak areas. Prospective bidders should assume that tube repair, patching, valve inspection, seam work, or full tube replacement may be required before use. Center console, steering wheel, seating, visible deck hardware, lifting points, and rigging components remain installed. The condition of steering, throttle controls, cables, fuel system, and related systems has not been functionally tested. Interior surfaces show fading, oxidation, dirt, wear, and general age-related deterioration. EVINRUDE 40HP MOTOR: The motor was not connected to power and was not started or tested during preparation of this package. URI does not certify that the motor runs, turns over, has compression, pumps water, shifts, charges, or is otherwise serviceable. It should be treated as untested and is sold AS-IS. IMPORTANT: Any TRAILERS, or other extraneous items shown in the pictures ARE NOT INCLUDED THE SALE. Again, NO TRAILER IS INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING. CONDITION This vessel is no longer in active service and has not been recently operated by the GSO Small Boats Program. It is being sold strictly AS-IS, WHERE-IS, WITH ALL FAULTS. Winning bidder must provide appropriate trailer, straps, blocking, transportation, labor, tools, and any lifting or loading equipment required for removal.
