This is a listing for a Sorvall Refrigerated Superspeed Centrifuge 21K RPM. Unit is in used fair cosmetic condition. Unit has been tested and has the following issue: Cooling has issue and will not cool past 2C. Tests performed: Unit passed general inspection procedure: Unit has been inspected for wear and shows no signs of damage that would affect operation. The unit successfully powers on and initializes without errors. All buttons/knobs/keys are functional and respond to user input. Unit was set to 10000RMP and 20-35 C to test rotor. Rotor spun up to the 10000rpm and then unit was stopped to test cooling. Cooling was set to -10C and a low rpm to verify cooling. The unit made it to 2c after tow hours but would not cool further.
