The StyroGenie™ is a thermal densification machine engineered to recycle and densify soiled polystyrene food trays, clamshells, cups, and other #6 foam products. Using heat to reverse the foam manufacturing process, it removes trapped air and converts expanded polystyrene into liquid resin that’s then cooled into dense briquettes. These briquettes represent the equivalent of hundreds of foam trays in a compact form and can be collected and shipped for downstream recycling into new raw material. With the ability to load up to 1,800 soiled trays per cycle through a large forward-facing door and an intuitive touch interface, the StyroGenie™ significantly reduces waste volume (up to ~95%) and lowers landfill disposal costs while supporting sustainability goals. This was used for one year and was taken out of service in 2024. Was in working order when taken out of service. Sold as is.
