Washington State s 8.8% sale tax will be charged to Washington State residents. Permitted Washington state resellers must provide proper documentation to avoid paying the WA State sales tax. WWU Surplus Sales requires auction winners who have won large/heavy machinery, industrial equipment, vehicles, pallets of electronics, etc. to schedule an appointment to coordinate pick-up. Loading dock, forklift availability and assistance with loading can be made available if coordinated properly. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in customers not being able to take the surplus property and will be rescheduled for pick-up another date/time.
