We no longer offer local pickup at any of our locations. As such, ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THE ITEM DESCRIPTION. PLEASE BE SURE TO READ OUR INSPECTION, PAYMENT & REMOVAL SECTIONS AT THE BOTTOM OF OUR LISTING EVERY TIME THAT YOU BID. THEY DO GET UPDATED OCCASIONALLY AND MAY BE DIFFERENT FROM THE LAST TIME THAT YOU BID WITH US.. These sections will answer most of your questions regarding payment and shipping. Over the next several weeks, we will be auctioning a large amount of coins, precious metals, jewelry AND MORE that we took in from an estate. We are not experts in this field and have been as thorough in our description as we can with the limited knowledge that we have. The estate lot had multiple bins of coins and bills. Keep checking back over the next few weeks as we have MORE TO COME!! You are bidding on U.S. UNCIRCULATED SPECIAL GOLD OVERLAY $2 BILL FROM 2003!! This bill is a GENUINE $2 BILL!! IT IS REAL UNITED STATES CURRENCY! The $2 bill is America's first and only commemorative bank note design. It was originally issued as part of the 1976 bicentennial celebration for the 200th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. It has been continuously issued since the series of 1976, but no particular series date is promised. The bill is in Crisp Uncirculated condition. To add to its beauty and historic appeal, this $2 bill features 22K gold highlights. The $2 bill is a genuine legal tender note issued by the U.S. government. The gold is privately applied, as the U.S. government does not have the capacity to create enhanced notes like this. $2 bills are printed in very limited quantities and are rarely seen in circulation. Most are acquired by collectors, but just a tiny fraction of all $2 bills have been set aside for this special 22K gold plated edition. The front features the portrait of Thomas Jefferson, who wrote the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and served as America's third President from 1801-1809. The back depicts the painting "The Signing of the Declaration of Independence" by John Trumbull. Among those shown in the painting is John Hancock, whose signature is the first on the Declaration of Independence. The group of men standing at the desk includes John Adams (second President), Thomas Jefferson (third President), and Benjamin Franklin, all of whom signed the original document in 1776. The note is displayed in a custom holder that preserves its condition and allows it to be safely shown to family and friends. PLEASE NOTE: Pictures are the of exact bill you will receive. PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR OTHER AUCTIONS BY CLICKING HERE! ALL ITEMS MUST BE PAID FOR WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS OF AUCTION'S END Please call our office at (404)826-2666 to make appointments for inspections at any of our facilities. Please DO NOT wait until the last minute to schedule an inspection or to ask questions about this item or for a shipping quote. Please remember, we are liquidators. We describe these items to the best of our ability, but we are not experts in any one particular field. All auction items that we sell are sold AS-IS and all sales are final.
