1994 Sutphen 100’ ladder truck, with a Hale 1500 gpm pump and 300-gallon water tank. Detroit 8V92 engine that has a potential undiagnosed engine problem. The vehicle has an Allison transmission, model HT-740D. This vehicle has served as a front-line piece as recent as May 2025. Vehicle had new front tires in March 2025 and a refurbished radiator in September 2025. This was part of the attempt to diagnose the potential engine problem. The hydraulic system for the vehicle was operational when it was last used with the exception of the controls on the pedestal. This is presumed to be an electrical issue but the vehicle did fail the recertification of the ladder due to this. The vehicle comes without any loose equipment. Any equipment shown in pictures will be removed prior to sale unless otherwise agreed upon with the buyer. Vehicle must be picked up and can be seen at our Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, VA 24482.
