The roll was hand assembled by the previous collector and has not been searched or altered by the seller. Being sold exactly as acquired from the estate. These coins were literally in circulation when the war ended. This roll was hand assembled by the previous estate collector and based on the condition and packaging of the estate collection appears to have been stored undisturbed since at least 2008 — making this a genuinely unsearched roll sitting untouched for nearly two decades. The 1945-D is also notable for the dramatic Micro D variety where the mintmark appears significantly smaller than normal — a sought after variety worth a meaningful premium in any grade.
