Full Description
1997 ROMI Tormax 13-5 Manual Lathe - #2 Used ROMI Tormax 13-5 manual lathe. The machine features a manual control system, chuck, carriage, tailstock, and adjustable tool post. Condition: This machine has been school-owned and used in an educational setting. The machine is currently non-operational and does not respond when powered on. Basic troubleshooting was performed, and the main power contactor does not appear to be engaging. When the spindle forward or reverse contactors were manually pressed inside the electrical cabinet, the spindle operated correctly in either direction. Based on these tests, the issue is suspected to be related to the main power contactor or its control circuit not receiving the signal to engage, because it was not engaging. The exact cause has not been determined, and further electrical troubleshooting and repairs will be required. Machine is sold as is with no warranty
